The league colludes through officiating to help teams out that are:
1) Rich, established in major markets
2) Expansion teams where a winning season will help bring in new revenue to the league (Arizona Diamondbacks, Miami Marlins)
3) Teams building a new stadium

For example, the Golden State Warriors want to build a stadium in SF instead of their old stadium in Oakland. Suddenly they start winning games.

The Braves could use some help this year.   They are building a new stadium in the county I live in and will move there in 2017.  It is going to be a clusterfuck. Traffic is already terrible there.  Many Cobb County citizens are pissed off because they have to go by it to get to work in Atlanta.  Its going to be a nightmare in the early evenings.


The Braves are 21-46 this year and there is no sign of improvement.  I'm a Dodger fan.

My advice is to try season 1. Or at least the first episode. If it doesn't grab you after one episode it won't ever grab you.
