I see that George Knapp is scheduled to host c2cam this weekend both Sat and Sun nights!  :D
He just confirmed he'll be on next weekend, too.

I didn't catch the first two hours tonight but did catch the wild horses segment.  Not bad at all and I'm not all that interested in the subject.  Knapp is so much easier on the ears than bumbling Jorch.

Last night was a Knapp at his best, and at his worst program.  The first guest was some woo pitcher making claims about all the stuff he has allegedly seen/experienced near Knapp's meal ticket Skinwalker Ranch. As usual with guests of that ilk, Knapp seemingly took everything as Gospel without challenging, or even trying to bound the claims.

The second guest, a retired FBI agent who spent a great deal of his career under cover, was very entertaining.  Knapp expertly guided the guy through the telling of a few of his more noteworthy cases, gently leading the guest past minutiae to get to the meat of his stories.  Knapp really hit his stride when the retired agent related his time undercover in Vegas dealing with mobsters.  One of the best interviews I've heard on C2C in some time .
Actually considering the robotics under DARPA and places like Boston Mechanics the "robotic dog" explanation seems more slightly possible than Dogmen and/or Indian Skinwalkers explanation for the strange creatures.

Knapp is very passionate on the horse/burro issue and so a good show. The small ponys on Asseteague and Chickadink are cool and they manage the herds via birth control and adoption. And are a draw for tourists. Knapp is right about somehow finding "value" in the wild horses and burros out west which will help in conservation.  I seem to recall tales about camels that went feral in Far West Texas and other places in the Western USA. Brought in in attempts to use like burros since they are used to dry, desert environments.

Knapp knows Vegas and history so I look forward to listening to the undercover cop stories.

First Hour: American artist Shannon Taggart became aware of Spiritualism as a teenager, when her cousin received a message from a medium that revealed details about her grandfather’s death. In 2001, while working as a photographer, she began taking pictures where that message was received â€" Lily Dale, New York - home to the world’s largest Spiritualist community. She joins George Knapp to discuss Spiritualism’s mysterious process of the seance and her eighteen-year journey that has taken her around the world in search of ‘ectoplasm’ â€" the elusive substance that is said to be both spiritual and material.

Second Hour: Author Mike Clelland wrote about the most difficult time of his life as it was happening and posted it on a blog when he was confronted with a chain of strange events that seemed impossible to understand. He tried to dismiss what was happening, but all the clues pointed to one thing, and he was forced to ask himself, ‘’Am I a UFO abductee?’’ Clelland will discuss his roller coaster journey of doubts and fears as he wrestles with UFOs, missing time, synchronicities and, oddly, owls.

Hours 3 & 4: All of us dream and the process of capturing our dreams and looking deeply into their meanings is of great benefit to anyone interested in their own unconscious. Dream expert Patrcia Etlinge speaks about her 25 years of study under Dr. Pat Allen, the world-renowned psychologist who pioneered work in dream analysis, along with the source of personal and universal information that is available to us from other dimensions when we dream.

Researcher and author Richard Dolan appeared in the first half and first decried the general nature of UFO study as presented in online forums and social media as counterproductive and filled with needless conflict. He quickly added that recent developments in the study of the subject and particularly its coverage in the media are unprecedented and remarked that we are now "talking about it in a way that no one could have imagined." This, in spite of the fact Dolan said, that the U.S. government has always engaged in a "debunking program of UFOs." He also characterized the efforts of the To The Stars Academy group as "definitely not a government operation" even though the members are former government or military employees.
-
In the second half, UFO journalist and organizer of the International UFO Congress, Alejandro Rojas talked about significant changes in how the media covers the subject. He characterized this last year as a period when there has been "an extraordinary shift" in the attitudes of journalists and writers as well as news organizations. He was heartened to observe that, instead of fading away after the initial excitement of the Navy UFO story, the cycle has only been reinforced by the willingness of the pilots and other witnesses to continue to discuss and reveal more about their experiences. Rojas pointed out that the press that covers defense issues tend to "take the word of the pilots much more seriously."

Wow. What a show.
-
Astronomer Marian Rudnyk hunted asteroids for NASA and also mapped lava flows on Mars and ice fractures on Jupiter's moon Europa. After a sighting that changed his life forever, Rudnyk was thrust into that which he'd previously condemned: the bizarre universe of UFOs. In his work at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) he recalled laughing at UFO researchers who would show up asking to see original imagery from unmanned space missions. This changed when Rudyk said he found a cache of film canisters hidden under the floor at JPL that supposedly contained images of UFOs from the Gemini space missions. When he examined the films, he found that the relevant frames "had been cut out of the film."

On January 1st of 2017, Rudnyk had a dramatic sighting of four disc-shaped objects in formation and took video and pictures of them. He mentioned the sighting and photos to a friend who had a relative in the Air Force Space Command. During a phone call, he was told that his sighting was "real all right." He was informed, "you're going to turn all of this over and you're not going to say anything to anyone." When he finally surrendered the video nearly a month later, he noticed that F18s were flying regular sorties over the area of the sighting as if conducting a search. Rudnyk was soon subject to harassment with his devices, on social media, and in person. Faced with this frustration, he said that the agencies or organizations bothering him "should just hire me."

====================
On the second half
====================

Terry Lovelace, a 64-year-old retired lawyer, and former Assistant Attorney General, kept a secret for much of his life. In 1977, Terry and a friend went on a camping trip to a state park known as Devil's Den. But instead of a wilderness adventure, they experienced an encounter with something unknown and unimaginable. Lovelace recounted the night of the incident began with the sounds of the forest, which had eerily "all gone quiet." They soon noticed a triangular formation of lights that rapidly approached, blocking out the sky between them. The object moved over their camp, and the two friends felt the need to immediately go to sleep. When they woke up about 4 hours later, they observed what Lovelace described as approximately 16 "little guys in twos and threes" walking near the campsite. They quickly stepped into a beam of light and disappeared.

The two terrified friends finally worked up the courage to bolt for the car and leave. When they reached an all-night gas station, they were so thirsty they drank water from the faucet in the bathroom. They noticed an apparent sunburn all over their bodies "even [on] the soles of my feet," said Lovelace. Both were in the Air Force, and authorities questioned them closely. Lovelace said that he was able to remember being inside the object with many other terrified people and "these little grey guys running all around." He observed a tall, human-looking figure, which seemed to read his mind when they locked eyes, and a praying mantis-type creature. Lovelace was hypnotized and interrogated by Air Force personnel who had likely questioned others with similar experiences.

Really enjoyed Knapp's interview last night with Russo.  I've heard him interviewed now on three different programs, and he's told different stories on all three.  The basic topics have been the same, but the depth of details have varied.  For example, the mental image of JFK snorting coke off Juliette Prowse's stomach was eye opening!  May have to read his book.

The second half guest, Beckley, would have been a great guest for Noory.  The guy talked fast and almost nonstop, dropping lots of names and jumping from topic to topic.  Poor Knapp had problems just getting a question in.

I wish those were the only ones he had on, or at least that I knew when they'd be on, because his "work" on "interviews" usually degrades the proceedings.

Nice day out so working on the lawn and listening to C2C and a Knapp show. He has on some guest, Cheryl Costa, about UFOs and I laughed. Bateman had him/her on years ago on Dark City/Dark Weekend and was a fun show because it was like "It's Pat." Knapp broke out quickly that it is a she. Was more fun when listening and thinking "WTF" because voice doesn't match a she unless maybe decades of Jim Beam and smoking unfiltered Camels.  I think though it is a 'chosen' she? No judgements but weird.

I’m hoping that someone can post a link to last night’s interview of Navajo ranger Jonathan Dover.

Knapp up to his usual animal stuff. Had some do-gooder with an annoying vocal-fry who claims to be from Louisiana and NOLA but sounds nothing like anyone I've known who is from there. I agree with her about the Chinese being evil and a source of animal abuse, animal abuse, inbreeding, etc but don't like her ideas of "animal law" and her under-appreciation of State, or even National, laws and her desire to make everything a "Federal Case" or even international one. Some caller now ranting about law programs about bees and to protect abuse of insects. See where these slippery slopes go? It starts with want to help out Tigers and will lead to some Federal, or international law, about not being able to swat that mosquito or go fishing.

I really enjoyed that interview.  The guest was really down to Earth and sounded totally believable, and Knapp wasn't as fawning as he often is with UFO/paranormal guests.

Yes. I know many have been less traditional and I think he mentioned he grew up in LA but I found strange that an officer on Rez wouldn't know language. At least Navajo in basic comms for a situation? Even in non Rez in many places here in US are requiring/trying at least basic skills in Spanish, for example. But on a Navajo Nation cop woukdn't require it? Interesting interview also about the tribal resentment/legends between them.

Solid show last night. Not usual C2C woo but real issues and Knapp was showing up as a real reporter and interviewer.  One question I had with regard to the first guest is how he, and his volunteers, avoid themselves being caught as an online pedo or criminal? I could see if they have a central office and inform and get some kind of warrant, or mandate, from a judge or from an agency but some volunteers at home? He did mention that criminals try to join these groups to gain access but what about the honest volunteer 'working' from home. If he is hacking or distributing illegal porn to catch the criminals he would still be committing a crime and could get caught up. Even if the DA decided to not take to trial once it was explained he was working it would be an arrest and cost. I think it might be better if instead of a volunteer group if it was a government agency or some kind of PPP with clear rules and charter to explore/exploit hacking and the darkweb as like an undercover cop does in real life. Or the volunteers get some kind of 'badge' from the government to say you are allowed to do XYZ? Or a dedicated computer for the operations with a logger so that all activity is recorded, for prosecution when they catch the criminals or to ensure the volunteer has good motives.
Drug segment guest was good also. The War on Drugs is ridiculously costly both in terms of dollars and lives.

The past few months have been upsetting and dizzying
But Knapp's shows have been solid C2CAM topics and we love him for that

We can heal up a little bit, remember who we were and who we are
and bring that with us as we move forward

Hot summer nights listening to Coast
Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and George Knapp

I got a real chuckle out of Knapp harping on "moaners and groaners" in the UFO community "whining" about recent developments, ending his first segment before Corbell joined him declaring the night's show was a designated "no whine zone."  He and Corbell then spent the next four hours whining about any and all who had the audacity to challenge the narrative being constructed with/by Knapp's various meal tickets....TTSA, Corbell himself, Bob Lazar, etc.

Someone needs to ask Knapp what is his financial stake in the various projects and programs he consistently espouses. I have no problem with him investing in or being paid by the people/corporate entities he shills for on C2C, but doesn't a guy who has talked about wanting disclosure for all these years owe his listeners the same relative to his fiscal connections to his guests?

albrecht

As always Knapp was good with the most recent mob show. Other than horses and UFOs you can tell that the mob and Vegas is Knapp's favorite stuff. Interesting show. I want Knapp to do an interview and show with this guy. He had some national fame in the 70s. He rescued Brando's kid. Was a private eye, security consultant, had gadgets/weapons instead of hand, and had toys made after him even.

Enjoyed both guests, great interviews. I remember hearing/reading about Chargra when I worked in the  Dallas/Ft Worth area as a coop student in the late 70s.

I like Knapp on the mob, Vegas history, desert mysteries, and such. He was good on the Chargra stories. A colorful family for sure. El Paso is a weird place. It is sorta of crazy even today. A relatively peaceful city right across the river from one of the deadliest cities on earth. When you are on I-10 you can look over and it is like the Twilight Zone. Huts, hovels, dusty roads, makeshift buildings, etc and to the right (assuming one is heading west) a modern-day city with buildings infrastructure, good roads, etc.

Knapp is good on UFO but is too involved and too credulous and whiny. Which is why it was amusing to hear him bitch, moan, and whine last night about debunkers, fellow UFOologists who don't like his guests, and those who question TTS, Lazar, Lear, etc. I don't know all the details, was vacuuming out truck and car and reorganizing the garage again for a lot of last night's show. But, as you mention, he starts saying "no complaining" and then complains and whines the whole show. Funny.

Knapp had some good callers.

I don't recall the whole theory but some caller had some interesting theory about him seeing "blue light" since 1969 and that he discovered the reason -being some kind of Biblical reason (this was refuted by another caller later who said the Bible passage didn't mention blue color light) - when he listened to Styx's "Grand Illusion" album and then he started citing lyrics, Knapp let him go on for a bit also.

Caller from Texas had helicopter incident with government troops. His roommate down the hall, who owns the house, wanted to kick him out but didn't notice anything. Knapp suggests he contact MUFON or something.
Corny renames Norry: Norway. George Norway. Knapp does not correct him and even expressed interest in Corny's case and said he could send him info. Knapp doesn't now what he is getting into.

James in Spokane (always a good town for callers): fallen aliens are coming out of the ocean on Catalina Island and the Mariana Trench who are waiting for the "final big battle," because the Flood didn't get rid of all the giants. He asked the universe and it "pretty much told him that is who is waiting in the ocean" and "it is not a good deal."

Annie from Alabama defended the Stephen King killed John Lennon guy and is currently writing 5 books.

Somewhat angry caller said Knapp "should get out from behind the microphone" and tell the real story about how the Chinese are weaponizing space and the NAZIs back-engineered UFO technology. Knapp says he is a reporter in Las Vegas and hard for him to go after that story.

Carrie from Palm Springs had an important sighting on July 4th 1979. Someone has filed similar report in LA at same time.
