Yeah, the way the news is moving these days, stories like that are just getting buried. A few years ago, that would have been a pretty big scandal. Same with Fukushima - prime minister is running around saying the plant is under control to calm concerns about the Olympics in 2020 while the regulatory authority is saying it's still a horror show in there. There's equipment that recently registered a reading of 650 sieverts, which is enough to kill a human in seconds, and likely what's been frying the robots they're sending in.
