Whatever it is george is normally on-tonight he's had a triple dose

Not helping him pay attention, though.

Mark: ...so you can get it edited, put it on the internet and the whole world's watching.
Joorch: What will you do about distribution? How will you get people to watch it?

C'mon, Joorch, you should be hip to this, being on the cutting edge of internet based television.

He sounds like he's on whatever that shit Michael Jackson was under the last time.

Snoorge: "Billy Mumy...the great actor."  :o

BM (appropriate initials) has never been nominated for a single acting award.

This isn't just bad, it's hilariously bad. Jorch is the Ed Wood of radio (with apologies to the Wood estate).

I'm battling what I hope is not the beginning of a cold (taking all kinds of home remedies that usually work), so was awake for the start of Cold to Cold.

Hoagland's moved, it was "horrendous" but also secret (see Hoagland sub-board). Davenport got cut off; good thing Rense gives him a full hour (minus commercials).

Then I heard a commercial for CCrane that GN hadn't read during his hours of daily preparation (nothing like expecting an advertiser to tolerate anything if ad rates are low, I guess!). GN said he "fidgeted" with the new radio. Me, I fiddle with new tech (and may resort to the instruction book as a last resort, usually don't need it though) -- so anything that makes a person -- even one who, um, can't focus -- fidget, is not technology I want to buy. (I'd prefer to have a highly rated but inexpensive internet radio, but that's just me.)

Then when his special (seasonal?) guests came on, I immediately switched over to a "tape delayed" Mike Malloy program. Mike cusses at the same things I do, thus he is on late and is much more interesting to hear when I'm awake at this time of night.

Oh man, more info on the Coast Holiday Album!  I mean old Mumy clips, Space Command info, and now this?  Another cloasht clashic tonite.

Btw, Joorch introduced tonight as 'the Friday Frolic plus Umphen Lines'. What the fuck is The Friday Frolic??

How's the sobriety, Major? I've long planned a night of a shot of Scotch every time he says 'of course'. I wouldn't expect to make it to the halfway point.

Glad to know you're among us, Zeeb!   ;D

Thanks Chirps.  I'm glad you're along for the ride too, but then again, why would I wish a Noory show on you?  I think I'm caught in a paradox here.   ::)

I beg your goddamn pardon.  Ron Howard is so envious of Billy Mumy's career that he has to take experimental depression medication.

He wakes up sobbing and goes to sleep sobbing.  Poor Ron has never gotten even a smell of all the success Billy Mumy has had.  I hope Ron makes it through this.

I've got a bellyfull so far and am now working on the head itself.

It's exciting!

Leave it to George to reference one of the two most well-known Twilight Zone episodes*, which are the only ones he knows besides Billy Mumy's.

"Danger! Danger, Opie Griffith!"

George only makes that creepy laugh when women are on the phone.

I wish to god he had interviewed Bill Cosby.

We'd have all George's romantic ass-kissing in the archives, and Cosby wouldn't even have had to waste a pill on him.

Joorch quotes the head of Netflix as saying that in a few years the major networks 'will be all SNAFU. They'll all be gone.'

Dim Bulb clearly has no idea what SNAFU means. There'll be trouble when someone explains it to mommy!

Seriously, if they call this 'Space Command' it better be a parody.  It makes me think of that Tim Allen film Galaxy Quest or of Space Balls.

"Space Patrol" was already taken.

Don't laugh.  According to Amazon, the Holiday Magic Coast Style CD is currently #3,387 in Music, and customers who bought this item also bought George Noory's Late-Night Snacks recipe book (#232,370 in Books).

Who knew there could even be 3,386 other CDs out there.

George:  "Did the robot's personality change when he was out of the costume?"

No, George, he just kept running around saying, "Danger, danger" and giving the outside temperature to cab drivers and waitresses.

I'm sure ol' Bill Mumy loves chit-chatting about stuff that went down friggin 50 years on the TZ episodes.  Give the poor guy a break George, or he might just cornfield ya.

Whoop, there went another "exciting." That's another shot of corn squeezins.'

This has been a lot of fun but "Open Lines" has got wall-to-wall nutcases waiting -- their eyes are darting, their asses squirming in their seats.

And George has got his fly open for any stories about kids suffering.

George is 'toying with the idea' of doing away with his 30 day no-call-in rule (ie/ you can only call in once a month).  The pool of callers must be getting really tiny.

I haven't listened to a single second of dipshit Dave Noory, but looked at the Space Command site... and boy it looks like a pile of flaming shit. Perfect for Dave to push on C2C listeners while perhaps getting cut in on the deal.

We have applied lip balm, and are ready to commence operation ass kissing.

I swear Bill the AAA calls several times a month.  He must have an honorary hall pass from Noory already.

considering Noory and the guest hosts never seem to enforce that old supposed 30day call-in rule anyway (witness often more frequent calls by several of the regular callers with no mention of the rule) its kinda moot in any case?

Hey is this "Corny" Cornelius calling?  He gets on more than friggin Bill the AAA.

Bill Mumy posted this photo on his facebook page yesterday to promote his appearance with Noory on c2cam tonight.  :P

George:  "Kennedy was shot with a conspiracy."

Damn.

No need for a rifle.

Yep, "Corny" is on at least every week...
