and it had nothing to do with where anyone was posting, btw.  just double posting.  that's all.

To be fair, some people have gotten away with double posting here--but, at least one of posts were funny.

What the hell happened to his voice? Weird. Sounds like his nuts are in a vise. Or was it the drugs keeping his voice in a lower register?
That podcast sounds higher in tone than he usually sounds on my local radio broadcast.  He sounded OK on the radio yesterday.  However, there's no doubt Rush has wrestled with his loss of hearing and he has a hard time hearing callers, at times.  It's a wonder, to a large extent, he can still do a show but he perseveres, with his cochlear implant.  Love him or hate, I give him credit for that.  He's still doing what he loves and still rules talk radio.   Yeah, yeah, I know. He has millions of dollars, likes Trump, and must, therefore, be evil.  ::)

Like I said, if anyone wants to know what a Trump presidency would be like - look no further than the failed governorship of Arnold Swartzeneggar.

Don`t worry, Trump has absolutely ZERO chance of winning. He`s simply too damn stupid and dangerous. This election will set a record for non-participation within the GOP base.

Plus, he's white.
Every square inch of his beautiful, naked body.

I remember listening to Art when the news broke that Rush had lost his hearing.  Art went into some detail about his own hearing loss.  Wearing headphones while broadcasting seemed to be the culprit.  Art loves music and he stated that he would gradually turn the sound up in his headphones over the years so that he could hear it better.

Oh yeah...  Prince died:

However, his drugs of choice are known to cause hearing loss in high doses.

that's right.  rush denied that the drugs caused his hearing loss, but i thought his denial sounded unconvincing, particularly when i learned just how many pills he was taking daily.  it was described at the time as a daily quantity capable of killing an elephant.

Wow...how the hell was he able to pull off his show everyday?

You'd be amazed how the human body can put up with shit put into it, especially once one gets over the initial shock and becomes adapted to it. At least for a time, it will eventually catch up with you (Keith Richard excepted.)

limbaugh is one of the greatest media deconstructionists alive today.  that's his real value, and something he doesn't get enough credit for.  unfortunately, people just tend to think of him as a conservative this or conservative that, and it keeps them away.  i recommend his show to anyone interested in american politics, regardless of political leaning.  most people are smart enough to sort out the things they agree with or disagree with while extracting value from the rest of his show.

actually, limbaugh preferred cruz.  check out this article for a good window into that.  he doesn't endorse in primaries, but he came as close as he could for ted cruz.  he's now supporting trump for the general, but that's more of a #neverhillary position than a #maga position.

Yes, sir.  He nails the MSM on a daily basis.

I don't dispute his support for Cruz and recognize he likes Trump if for no other reason at least he isn't The Nightmare from Shrill Street.

Wow, I didn't know about his hearing loss. Makes sense now. However, his drugs of choice are known to cause hearing loss in high doses. I wonder if he knew that. I used to listen to him when he got his start here in Sacto in the 80s. Sad.
Opiates are some of the least harmful drugs to take in non-overdosages, esp. the medical grade Oxycodone that Rush was into.
If we were talking about methamphetamine, I would agree. Its actually ototoxic.

i'm surprised rush is still alive and that his mind hasn't been damaged.  at least, i can't perceive any damage.

It's certainly obvious to me; but those kinds of idiots paid me a lot of dough in high school to do their homework for them, so I'm cool with another one being figurehead.

Who do you want? The cunt traitor with her ghoul husband? Whose kid are you??

I'm not sure I understand you.  Exactly.  Did you mean what you said or did you mean 'ghoul cunt and traitor husband?'

Can't someone die already?  This is the celeb death thread.  Not the Trump will be Prez thread.  (And yes, PB, he will be Prez.)

Bobo died.  His plane crashed in the Andes and the survivors had to eat bobo's body.  RIP, bobo.

Oh, no. I can see this place turning into Little Las Vegas on celebrity deaths.

I'm going with Betty White. She held out great as a very likeable little old lady for a long time but that long time is seeming like a really long time lately and she's been looking much rougher.

whoozit

If Keith Richards die will we know?  I suspect his already perfectly embalmed corpse will continue it's normal routine for years.

JesusJuice

Playing who do you think will die is kind of boring. Who do you want to die?
