The Democrats eulogizing of Ellijah Cummings, of course, got a little over the top (Hillary just can’t sound genuine, no matter what); especially for a man who, at least toward the end of his life, seemed to be nothing more than a rabid left-wing propagandist muckraker and often just an outright liar. He also claimed to be a Christain, who aren’t supposed to lie and so he also lied about that. I guess in some people’s minds anyone who ever knew Martin Luther King Jr. must be holy and incapable of deceit.

I'll remember Cummings for rats and this:

I hope the rats of Baltimore burrow into his coffin and eat the bag of J.P. Morgan money his wife hid there.

Can anyone identify the bass the young woman is playing?
Looks like an Alembic similar to the one played by Stanley Clarke?

He was 26 but the Star Trek character was supposed to be a teenager...
The same season he appeared on "Time Tunnel" as a young Billy the Kid too.

16 years with brain cancer?  Wow.  I didn't think that was possible.

No doubt.

Apparently, initial surgical, chemo, radiation therapy left her with speech/hearing issues, but with a few years of remission that allowed her to tour.  She was forced to stop touring for the last few years following her doctors orders.

Movie tough guy Danny Aiello has died at the age of 86.  https://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory/blue-collar-character-actor-danny-aiello-died-age-67720830

Good one! Fun story. We rented that movie but I didn't know anything about it. Went upstairs to get some food or take a piss or something. Came back about +/-10mins and watched with others. So, in other words, missed the initial stuff. I suggest that to anyone who hasn't seen. It makes the movie even more powerful and disturbing because you totally, to coin an 80's term, don't get it.....

Yesterday when he died.  Prior to that it’s been awhile.

I'm curious as to how he died, the articles I have read do not state his cause of death.  Seriously, does anyone know what it is?

He had cancer prostate cancer, and from what I remember he refused conventional medical treatments in favor of woo remedies.

BBC News - Neil Innes: Monty Python songwriter dies aged 75
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-50948921

Innes was also a member of 1970s Bonzo Dog Band, and gave us such amazing songs as "Noises for the Leg," "We Are Normal," and my personal favorite, "The Intro and the Outro."
