Uncle Duke

Very funny man, the bit about the Siamese elephants on  Carol Burnett is still the funniest comedy skits I ever saw.  Most of it Conway ad-libbed.

Stanton Friedman

http://www.stantonfriedman.com/

The old boy was well into his eighties and living in New Brunswick, I tnink. He must have delivered the same damn flying saucer lecture thousands of times before he packed it in. He was a major name but I felt that once you'd heard him a couple of times he was never going to come out with anything surprising. A lot like Art, I suppose.

People always seem to forget about this one:

Harvey Korman is about to burst a vein trying to hold in the laughter, which he ultimately fails at. Not that this was unusal. Tim would often bust Harvey up with his improvs.

Agreed. I have referred to him here as the chessy lounge act of ufology.

Do we know if he appeared with George this passed weekend in Columbus as advertised.

According to the report I read he died on the way back. That's pretty bleak, spending your final days with Noory. He must have been pretty low on the physicists totem pole if he could make a better living lugging a box of slides around the college circuit for 50 years.

I see another of George's deeply moving tribute shows in the near future, maybe as early as tonight.  Ditch the off-the-grid guy and use the other guest, Annie Jacobson, as one of a number of UFO "researchers" paying homage to Friedman.

How long before one of George's phoney mediums claims to be in contact with Stan?

Juan

It’ll be an early rush to the 7/11 for turkey sammiches for George and Tommee.

There are often casualties and deaths during an "invasion." Maybe Stanton was one of the fallen in the "Norry Invades Cincinnati?" RIP Stanton, Tim Conway, and Doris Day.

I was talking about the scam artists who claim they can communicate with the dead.  Who was the guy who said he talked with the dead Bell shortly after his death?

That was a guest on one of Jimmy Church's own shows, Fade to Black.  The msg included the words fade to black.  I did a numerology of the words and I actually think based on the meaning and humor that the message was legit.

There is someone in BG who Art gave a pre-death secret word to, can't remember off the top of my head who.  I showed him my analysis which included dark humor like 666, but the poster did not validate that there was any connection.  It's all in BG somewhere, I think.

I believe in the grave and resurrection, I think, so any msg would have had to have been in the moments after death while the brain is still alive?  Not sure on this whole part.

By the way, the rcdg below is not the one I analyzed.

No, it was this character, Steve Huff.

I don't think the voice on the rcdg below said, "Can use it?"  I think it said, "Can you sit?' (like can you sit for a minute to listen).

When the voice said, "Today. ...they'll take him", I think it meant that today's deceaser, Stanton, would likely go to Heaven (at some point).

How is this box constructed?  Without anyone being the wiser, could the box be amplyifying covert transmissions of RNM from two different levels of consciousness of the person in the room?

Dead Comedians... I have to go back a month- but it seems somewhat appropriate for Bellgab.

Veteran U.K. comedian Ian Cognito died after falling ill on stage... “We thought it was part of the act,” Ostojak explained. “We came out feeling really sick, we just sat there for five minutes watching him, laughing at him.”

The comedian gave me one last laugh when I imagined the mood in the room as it went from everybody laughing hysterically at a dead guy slumped over on stage for five minutes to the realization he was dead, 911 being called, CPR performed and finally the man being wheeled out the door on his way to the morgue.

Nothing that anybody can do to change the past. They will all look back on that night and realize they not only sat idly by as a man died in front of them- but that they laughed while he expired.*

*No, I'm not saying it was wrong of them to do so- that is what makes it all the better.  8)
Time to institute Safe Word policies.  Maybe a faster response could have saved his life.

Yes, that was Steve Huff.  He is the ultimate scam artist.  He tried a similar scam a few weeks back claiming to have contacted the recently deceased Lorraine Warren.  This time he got bite in the ass, as one of her grandchildren not only called him out, but provided the interview(s) where she spoke the words he electronically altered for his "spirit box" session.

https://youtu.be/6EBfFKi1Dr8

Even better, here is another of his videos where none other than the Lord God speaks to him through his spirit box (at 9:58 on the video below). God? Really? Who does this guy think he is, Jackstar?

Thanks for postings. Good stuff. RIP. I thought interesting the somewhat odd looking profile banners behind, somewhat Orwellian or the Stalinesque stuff, social realism, I'm sure K-Dubb or some artsy type would recognize more properly. Good stuff. Thanks for posting it. He sounded coherent and healthy, under a weird situation, and too bad he passed on. I heard Norry talk about it and I think he is genuinely sorry for his passing. His first and last and all that also. RIP, some good shows and life well lived.

That's "Nantucket Sleighride" by Mountain.  This 18 minute live version was what I played during my radio show when I had to use the facilities or get something to eat.

I was happy back when I heard that Batman guy died in a car accident, up until I found out it wasn't Ben Affleck.

Well that's a bit of a disappointment.   Was hoping for The F-111 Aardvark Hour w/ Uncle Duke

Wish I had thought of that.  I'd still have been terrible, however.
