That's a different thing entirely than why the USG hasn't released personal information.  Maybe the media hasn't thought of it yet, or at least haven't seen a possible connection.  Up to this point they seem to have been too busy vilifying Trump.

Remember the two security guys killed in Benghazi?  Their names were announced right up front with that of the diplomat, but they were incorrectly identified as CIA operatives.  It was only later they were correctly identified as CIA support contractors.  I'd bet someone's tit was in the ringer over that, probably some junior PA type who got more grief than Hillary ever did for abandoning them.
I would like to think that but I am jaded these days. As an example, the DOS folks who were poking around Passport and SS stuff during a recent election got dinged. But I'm not sure anyone at the IRS ever did. And you have FBI employees using government devices for personal use (committing an affair) in addition to the political skullduggery. Ignoring the politics why wasn't anyone bringing up the potential security issue of 1) FBI people cheating on their spouses 2) using government equipment to set up their liaisons and apparently lying about it. That by itself should've resulted in some kind of punishment or firing. Ignoring the political side. That is potential security breach or blackmail opp by enemies. Then you have countless examples of government employees using databases for personal use (tracking down ex wives, etc) or surfing for porn- even illegal porn on government equipment and time. And government employees who owe back taxes but still getting government checks and jobs! Bradley Manning got his data out by using a Lady Gaga CDs and on a thumbdrive- why is that allowed? He was punished but Obama gave him commutation after tax-payers funded his surgery.

You mean to say that in your position of authority, you didn't have any general idea of how many American contractors there were in country, what their original nationalities were, and who they worked for?  If you didn't know that, then you need to refund your pay to American tax payers.

Dude, I was an aerospace engineer in the acquisition career field who specialized in aircraft mishap investigation and crash survivability.  I was not a support contractor contract monitor or resource officer.  We had lots of support contractors, and over the years I had several who reported to me.  I knew who they worked for, what their contract allowed me to task them with, and who to contact in the event of a dispute relative to their duties. The vast majority of them were retired military. Vetting them was done by DIS, they came to us after having been granted whatever clearance level was required for the job.  The contractors down the hall working another program, let alone the rest of the DoD, we not my problem.

After work you all went to separate bars, right?  I mean Baghdad is the next best thing to Vegas or Dubai, yeah?

I once had a boss tell me, "The only way we'd ever get fired is if we killed somebody or got caught looking a dirty pictures of kids on our government computer."  Hyperbole of course, but sometimes it seemed like that. Firing a federal civil servant is, or at least was, almost impossible.  I don't defend the system, I just know what was.

Several years before I retired, I inadvertently used my official USG credit card (Visa issued by a commercial bank) to fill up my gas tank ($15) here locally.  My personal card was also a Visa issued by the same commercial bank, btw.  A couple weeks later I got a call to report to the fraud/waste/abuse (FWA) focal point for our directorate, and was told I was under investigation for fraudulent use of a government credit card. Long, painful story short, after a month or so, ending in a quasi-formal hearing, I was told I would receive nothing more than a note in my personnel file that I had been counseled on appropriate use of a government credit card and told I would lose my government card if it ever happened again. I also had to write what amounted to a letter of apology.

You must have inadvertently misunderstood the question.  I didn't ask if it made any difference or not.  What I asked is, what the odds are that either he or she might be a green card Arab working for Acadami?

It's not as if you're here to lead US astray from the facts, now is it?

After giving all that you have posted here due consideration I have come to the conclusion that you are full of shit, and are probably suffering from some sort of psychological disorder.

Fun stories I had as a youth. Used to use punch cards for car ramps or fire kindling. I wonder if Soviets would've rather grabbed them or throw em up on ebay. But govt employee used to bring back. Also always "knew" when stuff was gonna hapoen. Long hours n contracts. Our military might is based on logistics and legalese regarding ships n charters. Maybe not,as much, now since try small footprint n drones but, likely, siimilar ways to find stuff out. Not that reporters would do so amd not that I would want to hurt our interests. But the small things are important and lead to big. Look at who, what, where, how. Finances, insurance n reinsurance, open bids, Federal Register, regulatory changes, vessel brokerage, etc. I'm not giving away secrets. Common sense. Things have paper trials n so much is private/private partnerships, leases, etc and want to be protected and legal. Btw what ever hapoenrd to Lloyds vs Saudis... haha.

Plus the Russians and Iranians are traditional - centuries - enemies.
Which is why Iran wanted F-14s so badly, to stop the unmitigated overflight of Iranian MiG aircraft.  The F-14 tomcat and teh AIM-54 Phoenix missile with its claimed 100 mile range put an end to Soviet overflights or Iran.  The F-14s also scared the bejeesus out of any Iraqui fighter pilot that had the misadventure of being locked on by an Iraq F-14.  The mere act of locking up a target caused many Iraqui pilots to flee in the opposite direction.

The question is how is it that you think that it's such?  Scroll up.

I'll clarify as if you honestly don't understand what I've already explained, above.

The quote which you took issue with, I eliminated the meme, along with full attribution.  After you complained, I went back and modified it to include attribution sans meme.

The fuck you quote was a comment in progress, subject to editing; which I did.  If you're going to be so trigger happy to comment before people are done writing reviewing and editing, you have to expect changes within the allotted time to modify before the comment becomes sealed.

Get it?

There must be a current or former PG poster who is more full of shit than this guy "Stupid" but I can't think of one off hand.  Can anyone help me here?

MEDIA GLORIFIES SOLEIMANI

We've seen this movie before. The left has openly taken the side of the bad guys since before the Tet Offensive.  As we speak Nancy and Chuck are doing all they can to convince the American public that Trump has exceeded his authority under the War Powers Act and must be prevented from blowing shit up and killing people willy-billy.  What's next?  Maybe they can get Jane Fonda to go to Tehran and straddle a Katyusha rocket.

Did you have to pay back the fifteen bucks? Just curious--at this point, what difference does it make?

Amen brother.

The type of drone that obliterated the audacious tyrant is capable of hoovering and maneuvering in order to more accurately target and time a strike.  That's how it got him just as he stepped down off the stairs from his plane.  It could have been piloted remotely from Edwards.

Yes, but I would have payed it in any event since the bill came to us, not directly to the DoD.  It was no different than a personal credit card drawn on a commercial bank, except we didn't have to apply for it, it was issued to us. It also showed on our personal credit reports.

Remember the Small Diameter Bomb debacle?
Darleen A. Druyun was a civilian Principal Deputy Undersecretary of the Air Force for Acquisition

She got the initial contract to be awarded to Boeing by going back and deleting the one requirement stating that the SDB had to be able to hit moving targets.

The SBD is a very accurate gravity bomb with a warhead sized from 36 pounds up to 206 pounds of explosive.  Their hyperaccuracy allows them to use such small warhead filling weights. The less bang, the less collateral damage occurs, at least in theory.

She has an interesting history.

For all we know, it could have been a car bomb, an IED or anything  To say that the attacking asset has a hovering capability simply cant be deduced from the supplied info.  There could have been 10 UAV's in an orbit, we just don't know.

Just because YOU don't know, doesn't mean that I don't know, now does it?  I got that from a former flight engineer of a P3, who carried much larger ones, and had occasion to use them.

How else could the strike have been so precise with the less effective methods which you describe?  President Trump left nothing to chance.

The first so-called, 'Drones,' that I ever heard of, were Cruise Missiles, launched against heads of Iran's Hezbollah riding in funeral processions for other dead Hezbollah leaders, in Syrian occupied Lebanon.

You know as much about this strike as I do, which is nothing.

There are many ways to skin a cat.

Yes, the Presidents military planners did a great job.  Looks like a perfect strike.
