Who likes Apple computer products made by Tim Apple and the ghost of Steve Apple?

I’m an all apple household but holy shit those clowns have lost their way.  They have nowhere to go in terms of innovations in their base products, so they just raise prices and make Shit less user friendly.

Im’ma still gonna buy their shit and drink their kool aid.  But I wonder why they couldn’t be better or less inaccessible.

The 30 shares of Apple stock I bought when I was in college are doing well though.  But for how long.....their venture into producing entertainment content is not innovative, and so far out of their core that they might as well develop a line of skateboards and skateboard apparel .

I know what you mean.  At some point it becomes a habit rather than a choice.  Kinda like dope.

Heh, heh, heh.   ;)

If you don't care for closed source, and want security from the supply chain, to your door, to the web, take a look at this:

These products are not made for gaming, they are made to protect your data, keep you from being tracked online, thwart thieves, and keep the 3-letter agencies off you back and out of your system.  ;)
The two factor (encrypted boot flash drive) for startup is awesome and easy to use, plus it now supports LUKS.   :)
If you're looking for a secure system, this is the best there is at the present time.
Even the BIOS is open source.
Oh, almost forgot: Intel ME is deactivated, and disabled, It also runs an intel "U" code processor, which means it's unlocked and can be overclocked, if you want to mess with that.   LIBRE`    :D

What’s that mean?

I just want something that is physically high build quality to shitpost and stream porn on.    It has some nerd OS?

Any thoughts on the new iPhone 12 lineups?

Thinking of going with the pro with 256 mb.  But want to see how it feels in hand compared to the 12 mini.

Ended up with an iPhone 12 Mini w/128gb.  It’s nice to have a small phone again, and I suspect that I’ll very much appreciate the smaller form factor when I return to the office workplace. 8)

Oh yeah.  The cameras in even the base 12 are pretty damn sweet

The technology in this iteration isn’t really groundbreaking unless you go for the pro versions with LiDAR.  But I’m looking forward to 5G speeds when I’m in the city again.

MV got the iPhone 12 Pro max 8)

Now I want to trade in my 12 for a 12 pro. (Already returned my mini for a regular 12)

Max is too big for me.  I don’t wear ponchos sold in the Andes to Midwestern white missionaries, so I can’t fit the max size in my pockets.  I have an iPad Pro for that stuff.

I'm thinking of getting the mini. I miss small phones.

It’s a great phone.  I imagine that I could have had gotten used to it quickly.  If I was back in the office, I would have had kept it.

Also, I returned the 12 and got a 12 Pro. 12 was fine.  Got the pro out of pure vanity.  Honestly liked using the regular 12 more.  But the pro is better because it is pro  ;D

About to pull trigger on M1 Mac Mini after hearing Poncho Vanderveebin speaking highly of them the other week.  Rational side of me says to hold out until they have a M1 iMac out so I don’t have to futz with thunderbolt compliance with monitors.

Given how Big Brother they are being now I’d like to get away from them if I could. Just this past week I’ve noticed I’m getting numerous requests from my device for passwords for no reason. I always just say not now and it goes away but it keeps happening. I think I might seriously check out Linux now.
