Oh yes, I remember that one too.
God, those were some wild days when we got Noory all pissed off at us.
There was quite a laundry list of characters on the old Coast Rider forum
but you know what, I remember you most of all!  ;) ;D

Those were the days when Art started calling some of us Wingnuts too...

I wish there was an archive of the old Coast Rider forum.
So many names that I've since forgotten.

Yep, lol I remember that well.
I remember Alex Jones prank-calling Art.

Some of them are probably here with different names, some have passed on.  I remember just before the forum closed down, Captain Beyond was ill, the nice man who started the Imaginative Worlds forum.

LOL.  I know that's right.
I was too in those heady days.
That was my first internet forum and I was pretty much letting it all hang out and that got me into a bit of trouble later on.

Oh NO!  What kind of trouble?

Lilith

Tornadoes and storms outside his window when he astral projected?

Well, let's just say I was a bit too flirty
with the ladies and I had one constantly
sending me dirty pm's.
She claimed she was a witch and it took
a bit of doing to extricate myself
from that situation.  LOL.

Ah, yes, I understand. That forum was where I became completely turned off to the concept of PM's.  There were some yucky behind the scenes things going on at that time.

Yes, I don't tend to use pm's much anymore
and I've taken the flirtatious behavior
down a couple notches.

I do remember one lady by the name of
Doc Stein who was a dog trainer and we got along very well.
Maybe too well but she was a great gal.  I wonder what became of her.

Lilith

I'm listening to Dave now.

Dave congratulating Heather.  Very NICE Dave!!!   :)

Well, maybe if we post people as we remember them, they might reveal themselves.  :)

I wonder if MV was ever a Coast Rider?

I've always wondered about that.
I suspect he probably was.

Lilith

Hey GABBERS,  Were YOU a Coast Rider?

The thing was, you HAD to have a subscription to C2C in order to be able to see the forum.

Robots will put almost EVERYBODY out of work I suppose.

I cringe at the idea of human brains being downloaded into robot bodies......

Lilith

I can see robots surpassing humans, since their "brains" might be able to process information and "learn" much faster than our brains.

Yes, I used to read the Fantastic Forum all of the time.  I tried Imaginative Worlds a couple times but I didn't really know many people there and I wanted to be on a board that was similar to the Coast Riders forum.  I drifted over to a renegade Coast Rider forum called Coast Riders In The Sky and stayed there for 5-6 years.  It petered out and I found myself on Bellgab.

All those forums were EXCESSIVELY moderated IMO.

Of course that is probably why people used PM's, to let their creepy sides out.

Right, I remember Lex took care of it for the most part though I gather he wasn't reading much of it.  LOL.

Yeah,  I was friendly with the board moderator and charmed him enough where he kind of let me do my thing.  That is where the witch got a hold of me.  LOL.  The moderator was a nice guy but heavy-handed with the ban button.  AM-Stereo-Relic was his handle.

I don't remember that name.  I just remembered Lex.

I remember Snoory usually posted in the Thread on open lines night, and Nightwing made him his CoastRider Name Tag Avatar Pic.
