If you ever has a "plate lunch" in Honolulu you would expect the vendor to pile on the goods. Often you will get your money's worth and more. I grew up in Honolulu so I know that the expression " broke da mout" means you are full and satisfied and can't eat no more for several hours. Of course like you said it could also mean the other expression but I never heard it in that context since the word "ono" meaning delicious was used often by itself and it referred to food, not beverages.
