I was in error when I typed predictions.  They are forecasts, kind of like the weather.  He's pretty accurate.  I'd say over 85%, probably more.  You need to watch a few videos consecutively to get an idea.

If you don't live in a seismically active area, or you are simply not interested in seismology, then you'd probably get bored.

As I said before, suggesting an earthquake will happen in a seismically active area isn't really clever. They happen, in some areas (such as Japan) quite frequently.  85% accuracy in such areas (Italy, Persia, Anywhere on the Pacific rim) isn't going to fail. In fact its almost a dead certainty a tremor will happen sooner or later. Any geologist will say the same; No geologist can forecast the exact timing. Nor would they try.

A miss? He admits a miss? That's pretty cool. Cool that he was honest and cool that there wasn't a big quake.

The South America forecast was downgraded from a warning to a watch. He has been rated to be 80% to 85% accurate.  Yes, I will look for the source, but after watching his videos off and on over the years, I say that estimation is correct.

His, presentation style, isn't everyone's cup of tea, but he definitely knows what he's talking about.

This thread is for folks who live in seismically active areas or are just interested in seismology.  That's it.  Otherwise, if ya don't like it, don't look.  Simple. ;)
