i mean im not just talking about myself here, everyone i've talked to who is a little right-leaning was just like "hahaha yeah that's cool"

gnooryblows

jesus christ i mean when dick cheney shot a guy in the face, even none of the democrat leaning college kids i was in school with at the time gave a shit, they were all just like "hahaha that's awesome". it was a big joke. everyone thought he was a badass.

you fuckin' dems don't understand human psychology and the sort of shit that people really think is cool / uncool. you think you can shame people into voting for you but it never fuckin' works!

gnooryblows

people are much more concerned about the psychotic domestic terrorist citizens that they are worried will come after them personally than they are about the political class (which reporters sort of fall under, especially in this day and age in the minds of most) quarreling with one another

The audio from this incident does not sound very aggressive from the reporter at all.
You're just acting on your ALT/KHLAN/CON marching orders.
Get the facts, Jack!

So the candidate just snapped and threw the guy to the ground for asking a question about healthcare.  Yeah, ok.

it's almost definite that a microphone got shoved in the dudes nose or or he stood in the dudes way, or something. "the other guy did the same thing!" what is he talking about there? asking a question? that's what reporters do, so obviously not. the reporter honestly didn't sound "aggressive" to me but you can violate someones personal space and massively overstep your boundaries without being "aggressive", especially if you're a smarmy elitist fuck who fucks people over with a smile on a regular basis :(

Something happened with the microphone before the body slam.  And something must have happened leading up to the part of the recording The Guardian released.  And what was it ''the other guy'' did?  We aren't told by The Guardian.  Trump was onto something when he started telling various pretend news agencies they weren't welcome in his press conferences.  Why should they be if they aren't going to follow journalism ethics and be at least somewhat objective.  Sounds like The Guardian should have been banned from this one.

Remember the Rodney King tape?  That was also carefully edited.  Watching the part that was first presented gave a very different impression than the impression people got when they were finally allowed to view the rest of it - the minutes leading up to the the part that was originally released.

I've just seen the dishonest media distort events too often to give them the benefit of the doubt.  More so since Trump was elected.  I'll believe the new Congressman on this until proven otherwise.

I don't even know what that is.

Here are the facts:  the Progressive Klux Klan are the New McCarthyites

oh yeah dude, you're right actually. i didn't even notice that. he's saying very calmly "speak with shane please" and then next thing you know you immediately hear the microphone being pounded on, which probably means it was shoved in his face, or some other part of his body, and made contact. it's very clear that 2 damn miliseconds before everything goes down the guy is very, very calm, so obviously there's some sort of physical tussle that's not apparent on the audio.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQwu4wff7lI

these fucking people man, all they want to do is punch you in the face and then literally pretend to be the victim when you hit them back. trump is a great example of their bullshit. they public nonstop stories about him that are 100% false, totally bullshit, and then they whine and whine and whine about how "unpresidential" and "insulting" it is when he calls them fake news. or "how horrible" it is when he wants to widen up libel laws. and honestly if the media in our nation is really so bad, which it obviously is, then widening the libel laws really is not that bad of a thing. it's unfortunate, but they are literally printing fake story after fake story after fake story, and they get to shrug it off and not face consequences "because they lie by omission". they lie by telling you one half of the story, but leaving out the important other half.

guess what? it's no less deplorable. it's no less misleading and it's no less damaging. what they did in the shooting of syville smith protests was basically the epitome of illustrating just how they take a situation, only report on half of what's happening, and leave america with a totally backwards, 180 degree view of what happened :(

Montana recently has been known for some weird politics. I recall some "boating accident" deal, likely drunk and also, who can forget my favorite political debate of all time, their neighbor still holds the record for best/weird political debate (Vermont has good ones also.) Both let other Parties into them, unlike many other States:

Or full for the fun "mainstream" guys deal with the awesomeness:

If Bill Clinton, Hilary Clinton, Barock Obama, people like Diane Feinstein, Maxine Waters, and dozens if not hundreds of others were given a tiny percentage of the scrutiny from the ''mainstream media'' that Trump has received, they'd be out of office and behind bars by the end of the month.

Yet they operate as if nothing will ever come of any of their incompetence, abuse of power, crimes, and corruption.  How is it they know in advance the mainstream media will cover for them by ignoring, deflecting, and covering for them?

yup and yup, they def know they'll be covered for

but trump bends over to get an award from the saudis and they make a big deal of it, after they were totally cool with obama literally intentionally bowing to them

I'm sure early voting had a lot to say (I'm against early voting and motor voter because it allows lazy people to vote, and it some cases illegals to vote, and also doesn't account for events during the end of a campaign) about it because before the foreign news agency got involved it was a minor election. Still good to see the DNC and Left waste money. No word if the new Congressman has heard back from the WWF E. Allegedly he had a body-slam technique and could've had another career if he lost? But the media/DNC lost another election despite spending a lot of money, coming in from out of state groups.

Even Amazon's "fake news" outlet is saying that he won:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/powerpost/democrats-prepare-to-claim-victory-in-montana-regardless-of-outcome/2017/05/25/d7134a1c-4152-11e7-8c25-44d09ff5a4a8_story.html?utm_term=.725afd3a9ea2

Like the Georgian contest, this will quickly be out of the "news" cycle of the media since their candidate lost. Though maybe because "charges pending" it will still make a few cycles?

It's also before the campaigns are finished presenting their cases.  The vote should be a snapshot of voter preferences as of a single date everyone is well aware of in advance.  It would also be nice if the Ds didn't feel the need for their last minute accusations that come too late to be responded to, although that sort of blew up in their faces this time.

That it never happens this way anywhere should tell you something that everyone ought to be well aware of.

You need a yuge thread for Fox. Trump used their bogus news feed to frame his tweets after the London attack. Weirdly he hasn't retracted his bullshit or apologised for it.
