.22 rounds are to small to feed reliably in anything but they dont have as many jams in rifles. I know my 10/22 jams every time i take it out to shoot it but for whatever reason it's less frustrating to deal with. When .22 dried up i started plinking with 9mm and never went back to .22, it's funner, never jams and i can fit 33 rounds of it in a glock magazine. 9mm AR15's are fun to plink with and i have never had a jam and the bolt hold open works 100% of the time with my BCP dedicated glock lower https://blackcreekprecision.com/bcp-9mm-7075-t6-slim-cut-forged-lower-receiver-246.html
