Thu Oct 27 â€" Steph Young â€" Terror In The Night
POSTED ON OCTOBER 27, 2016
Steph Young has a BA in Business and is a Qualified English Tutor. She grew up reading paranormal magazines in the UK and began to write Freelance Articles on Paranormal & Supernatural topics. She gathered so much research, she decided to put them into books. She is now an independent Researcher addicted to researching all Paranormal, Supernatural, Esoteric & Enigmatic mysteries. Each book she writes seems to lead her to further questions and searches for answers as the mysteries inevitably deepen & develop into ever more complex riddles in the spectrum of the Unknown.

She was on a little while ago. It seems MITD is on a short rotation schedule with their "talent" pool. At first glance, I thought it was a repeat. Oh well, hopefully I won't turn it off too early.  ::)

I believe she COULD be better if 1) cut out that first half hour which is really nothing more than a way to eat up time and deal with her political issues; 2) find a decent producer; and, 3) stop acting.

These are all valid points; providing the host had the necessary potential, skill, sophistication, was well read, actually had some talent in said field. Sadly for Heather, this isn't the case for her. I don't want to sound mean here, but its abundantly obvious she isn't cut out to host a radio show.

I wonder if Art is still coaching her? For that matter, doesn't Keith even throw in his two cents here? Some of the things she says/said, does: her dad is a Chinese mobster, her stepdad is a giant (Mary Sutherland show), all the guests are her friends (even guests who haven't been on the show are her friends), she seems to have had an experience in the topic that the guest is going to talk about, her mind numbing cackling/laughing at the most minute of things, etc.

These are pretty glaring things for Art or Keith to not notice; we seem to, I'm sure a lot of other people do too.  :(

Maybe her computer is overheated or something, I would try hooking up to a backup computer.  Not that I have any idea what it is, but usually, restarting your computer fixes this stuff.  I'm sure she has a backup system set up just in case of equipment failure, and that she has tried that during the commercial.

It's the NSA! They're stopping Art from pounding packets.  ;D

They finally figured it out, that there's a problem with the stream. They must have read our posts, and #dmtalk. Good work MITD! Maybe, they should get Art to pound out some packets!  ;D

Looks like Keith fell asleep again. He can't hear the warble in the stream.

Exactly. Art Bell is more of a mascot nowadays. Like Col. Sanders. Trostol is just acting contrarian but I think that he does understand.

Art is retired. He should stay retired; if that's what he really wants. The audience shouldn't be toyed with anymore. There's enough ill will to last a lifetime from all the baloney from the MITD braintrust.

except..its not

I don't think the official title is going to matter much. How long do you think this monstrosity will really last? I'd give it a couple more years; that's being extremely generous on my part. Judging by the lack of activity here, and #dmtalk (Twitter); that's very telling.

I've listened to a few of your shows: Dark Waters, David Paulides, John Davis-Flat Earth. I enjoyed them, for the most part. Though, when you say: "Uh huh" repeatedly, it seems like you think the guest is full of pooh.  ;D

!!! WARNING !!!
to all you assholes who are saying bad things about Art,..
at 1:35:35 Art admits to reading Law books,..and by now I bet you Art is loaded with knowledge to sue your asses off , haha.lol

He's retired now; but when he was younger, he should have read some books on: respondsibility, discipline, trustworthyness, commitment, etc. It would have helped him immensely. Also, his legacy wouldn't be full of asterisks.

I feel semi-responsible for Heather's evil clown obsession.

Don't feel respondsible for her wasting time on this clown nonsense. Obviously, she has nothing of interest to talk about. How anyone pays to listen to this dreck is beyond me.

This was one big turd fest from the beginning.
#45
Heather the majority of listeners didn't accept you as host. Looks like we lost.  :o
#46
So the turd fest begins!

And that would have been... a loss?

Not at all. No one else wanted the job; who could blame them. Heather was a willing groupie, who dreamed of playing in rock star Art's world.

Tonight's show: http://midnightinthedesert.com/edward-leszynski/

Electronic harassment; interesting topic, I'm not familiar with the guest though. Given the right host, it could be a very interesting show. I'm not holding out hope, that this is going to happen with Heather. She has a knack for taking a good topic, and guest and turning it into a turd fest.

Last night, should have never happened. That guest was a bust last time. Gravity Sucks posted a lot of good, interesting info. He should have been the guest. We could have got some real insight into the Shuttle program.

Just in case anyone cares: Tonight's guest - http://midnightinthedesert.com/david-adair/

Apparently, this is PT 2 of the interview. If memory fails me; last time he was on, he spent 2/3 of the show talking about his wife's health issues. He got progressively more agitated, and uttered some "bad language" which Heather had to warn him about. When he got to the actual alien info, it was a bust. There really wasn't any earth shattering news.

Watch at your own peril!  :o

G of T, you acting like Art ever lied you you/us. That is very=VERY wrong of you.
Didn't Art said that Heather is .."getting better every day" ??
Isn't that enough for you to trust every word that Art squirts out of his mouth ..?
Didn't Art said that .."George get's it" - don't you have proof of that every time George squirts words out of his mouth ??

Oh you of little faith....

You know the old saying, fool me once, fool me twice.

I find it funny that Art still cuts promos and hawks products on MITD. Particularly humorous is during the CCrane radio ad he says: "trust me". Really Art?  :o

Hoagland and Heather should do a show together.  :o ::)

Looks like it was another busy night here, wow, all the activity. Talking about Roman/Egyptian domes.
I guess Tony Montana talking about brain out of body (BOOB) experiences, just didn't hold any water for most people. I tuned out just after the first hour. I stuck around hoping Tony would say "mang". He never did. Heather was in fine form too, with her usual inane babbling. Another great show Heather, keep up the good work!  ::)

Just to clear things up for Heather: Madame Curie (left), conducted research on radioactivity. Cherie Currie (right), was the singer in The Runaways.  ;D

I hope I can stay awake to listen tonight.  I don't know what the topic is going to be, but whatever it is, I'm sure I will learn many many new things from Heathers commentary, that I never even thought of before, and get lots of giggles reading the forum posts, if indeed anyone else is even here tonight...

Honestly, if it wasn't for bellgab, I wouldn't bother listening at all.

Like brig said.  ;D

Art is bobo17. He needs to admit it.  ;D

Wow.  Man, Art, what did you wrought?

In all fairness to Art; though he doesn't deserve it, it's not his show anymore. He told Heather to make it her own, and voila the mess we have today. Art insists she's getting better; really? You could've fooled me/us.

It's sad that this thread seems to be grinding to a halt. The last few shows, very little posting. If there was it wasn't related to the show at all.

There's been some questionable guests lately. I skipped Ed Dames little brother (remote viewer) last Thursday; listened to Euphomet instead. Then there was Harry Potter's cousin (teleportation); what a crock. Did you see the low brow display, in the picture? She could've at least gone to Staples and got a proper display background. Mary Sutherland; red haired giants. She was all over the place, probably looked at different websites to come up with her mish mash of a theory. Whatever it was. Then, who could forget guy Nancy? The crop circle lady; the anti Linda Moulton Howe. It took me awhile to figure out it was actually a woman speaking.

Then there was Heather; ah Heather. She talked about clowns for 1/2 an hour two nights in a row. Her usual nonsensical giggling/laughing thrown in for good measure. The highlight had to be our viewing her vast wealth of common knowledge; sarcasm noted. She said she didn't know who Nicola Tesla was, she only heard of him when she listened to the group Tesla. Really? I guess Madame Curie is out of the question then? Heather probably thinks she was the singer from The Runaways. So sad.

I really wonder how long this will last. I know people wil point out listener numbers on a given night, but how many are actual subscribers? Only time will tell.

Heather, and the guest are trying to tell The Almighty how to do his job.  ::)
