That's what she needed to learn from Art: How to tackle unfamiliar subject matter. It's something that she, Hoagie, and Dave all have problems with at times.

There's an old fashioned concept that would definitely help here. It's involves doing your homework, and studying. When test day comes; guess what?, you'll do fine.

True enough. However the whole show hinged on Art Bell. Art is a diva who hasn't had a steady job in like 20 years.

Really I'm amazed it lasted as long as it did. I knew the show was in big trouble when Art quit the show twice, before it ever aired. Art fell out with Keith, then Art couldn't believe the music industry wanted to be paid for the music he just had to have to do HIS show. UGG

Art is an intelligent, well read man. He is the "Father" of the paranormal radio show genre. Though, his legacy will be tainted by bizarre episodes of: quitting/poor behaviour, bad decisions, and plain stupidity etc. This in itself is sad.  :(

I some of it comes from really trying to push the knowledge  limits of whatever guest Heather has on.

I remember calling in one of Heather's first shows when she had on a "ceremonial magician" from the U.K., and I asked him his opinions on whether he considered Alan Moore as being a true ceremonial magician, as opposed to being a poser or a performance artist.

Don't second guess yourself Juan; you're not the problem, the host is.

What else can she do if she can't contribute to the conversation? She already embarrasses herself, and is flailing in the night, on most of the subject matter.

I can't disagree with you here. Though, the MITD brain trust embarrasses itself more by allowing this to have happened.

Yeah, I do tend to get recursive in conversation at times. My speech patterns can really suck.

It does seem that she cuts people's calls short, when she can't grasp what they're saying.

It's almost as if hiring a host with no radio experience and a knowledge base as deep as a cat food tin was a bad idea.

This was the MITD brain trust's "Hail Mary" play.

Hey, I can't do the job all by my friggin self here! Especially when Heather cuts me off before I can really lay into Trump's naïveté with international relations.

Though honestly that describes Heather when it comes to these issues as well. I'm afraid the terms "Infrastructure Age"  and "Internet of Things" are ideas over her head.

That's why she cut you off, she had no idea what you were talking about.

i don't want to contribute to improving the product.

Don't worry, the host won't let that happen.  ;D

Heath went to get her head checked this weekend...
Doctor told her he found nothing.
That diagnosis relieved Heath.

Praize Heath

She went to a proctologist.  ;D

Or maybe a teaching position at Hogwarts.

I think Professor Snape's position is available, isn't it?  ;D

All of Heaths highly educated friends are fighting for lowly service jobs...
I reckon a degree from HogWarts don't carry the weight it use 2.

Right?

She may get a position in the Ministry of Magic.  ;D

If you are listening to the show now, you can tell she isn't.

She noticed Trump had a flag pin...

Right?

And Hillary didn't.

Right?  ;D

Present, and excited to hear what Heather has to say about the Debates!!!

Right?

I thought she once said she wasn't interested in politics?

Heather, I believe your headaches are caused by having that broomstick shoved too far up your ass.  But have a nice day.

Couldn't Professor Snape have come up with a potion to help her?  ;D

She must have had a change of heart.  ;)

Those pain meds can mess with you.  ;D

They sure can!  ;D

Funny, I just took this screenshot of Heather's Facebook page. The wording in the previous posts doesn't quite match up.

That's her AntiChristmas.  ;D

I guess she couldn't get out of a sabbat that she was required to go to.  Falkie was going to be there and it requires getting completely undressed and frolicking in the dirt.

Trying so hard not to get a mental picture of that.  :o

She must be too busy with sword dancing or religious scholarship.

I think she's in trouble with the Ministry of Magic.  ;D
