LOL, whooo hoo that Sereda is kind of...special, isn't he? I can't say I've heard him much before, but he's definitely one-of-a-kind. I really enjoyed this one.

Hey guys and gals.

I've just made it back home this evening. I've been out most of the day.
First of all, thanks for all of the well wishes. I apologize for being off-the-air tonight, but family health comes first.

Very exhausted. We'll save the in-depth discussion of "belief" for Friday.

Tomorrow we'll be welcoming guest Matt Smith of Litchfield County Computer onto the program.

While I don't like generally using the term "expert", well, to me, he really is. Matt was also born with cerebral palsy, and has overcome huge obstacles to be able to operate his own solo computer company. Here's an article on him from a few years back:
http://patch.com/connecticut/woodbury-middlebury/from-cerebral-palsy-to-computers-matt-smith-litchfiel23eda29ee6

He's also a member of the board for the Connecticut Council for Developmental Disabilities.

He and I have known each other for close to 20 years. We encountered and published our first security exploit together in 2002 about a denial of service vulnerability in Parachat.
https://web.nvd.nist.gov/view/vuln/detail?vulnId=CVE-2002-1849

We'll be discussing information security, infrastructure, history of hacking, and more. At some point the discussion might also turn to classic cars (i.e. - he drag races his fully restored '64 Chevelle).

Will post the official guest bio for the show page tomorrow. See you all then!

Hope the family is doing well, Amy. Best wishes!

A computer super geek with cerebral palsy who drag races. Welp, count me in, love!

Seems to be working now, but their website monkey got 538's mp3 name mixed up with a previous episode. If you're getting a "not found" or "can't download", open the link in your browser like you're trying to play it and delete the erroneous name since it's doubled up with the latest ep.

Wow. I don't even like to call trannies cross-dressers because your typical crosser doesn't even try to pass off as a woman. Whereas these LGBT folks want to pass, usually putting in a half-assed effort at best, whilst expecting everyone to ignore the uncanny valley. Not all trannies are bad, but the ones we get to see from America make it sound like another rung of degeneracy your country has stepped on.

i am not sure i agree with that..most parents these days are very selective and sheltering of their kids

No kidding, I've heard of parents in America getting CPS getting called on them for letting their kids play outside...don't know how true it is (not in the US), but it doesn't so sound so far out!

You don't have to subscribe in order to enjoy Peter's daily commentaries.  He usually posts 1 or 2 articles a week for subscribers only.  Even then, he posts a free one as well. I only joined 2 weeks ago, but have been enjoying him for approx 6 months.  I waited until I was sure he would be consistent.

PBC News & Comment: Pentagon Insider Blows Whistle on Phony Protections for Whistleblowers

New book profiles John Crane, who ran “whistleblower protection unit” at Pentagon, detailing how Tom Drake got screwed at NSA…..

Yeah, just got home, took at the site myself. See, that's why I asked about an example, your mention of the NSA and Drake got me hooked already. If he's on topics like that I'm good to go. Thank's again.

Unfortunately can't say. (Long story.) Sorry, for that look to non-EU Nordic countries though, in my opinion. (As a note, I don't use it much and most all I get is definitely legal stuff and usually stuff so old that I doubt the holder really cares, even if even copyright still in place, and for personal use only.)
Here's a weird one.

Oh, no problems. You certainly don't have to justify anything; I get it. Thanks for the pointer, though. Just looking for a service and saw some lists on Reddit, some recommendations on other sites, was "buh...well, no shortage of choice there".

One goes in the torrent world and youtube downloaders and one has to expect some stuff. The thing that is weird is that it never happened before (using a seedbox overseas for initial d/l and then SFTP to d/l to computer here.) So? 'Someone' concerned about his stuff only??

What service do you use for seedbox? Where I'm at is starting to clamp down hard on torrenting.

I think they just have a twisted sense of humor and like to buzz what they consider hillbillies out in the country once in awhile. Other than that they really just seem to be into it for the cow lips and genitals.  ;)

Art use to frequently have open lines in the first hour back in the 1990s. He would talk about things in the news like gun control, the environment, the presidential election, just things that interested him and he would give a strong opinion about it and if you disagreed or agreed you can call in and talk to him about.

Heather doesn't have any strong opinions about anything. She's already said several times on air that she's disinterested in politics and social issues. So she doesn't really follow anything in the news. That's why when she's reading news items in the first hour it sounds like she's just hearing about it for the first time because she probably is.

Now she's suddenly pro Trump and is making political stances that she seems unsure of. Like she's not convinced about the opinions that she's giving but is just reading them. I wouldn't doubt if Art is writing out things for her to say. He wants to be a host but not actually host and she's just a puppet of sorts and she's fine with it because it gives her material to eat up the first hour.

Got more the feeling she's trying to emulate her idea of Art's lead. Because if he's writing stuff for her, he's doing a shitty job at it.

Larry,

I sincerely pray that JBW gets his act together - AND - I appreciate your efforts in promoting him.  I hope he appreciates your efforts.  He really should.  JBW still offers the best platform for guests with good information to convey with "no holds barred".

In the meantime, I paid for an annual subscription to Peter B Collins - who provides very insightful and very professional news commentaries on a daily basis.  Zero racist or political or religious ranting!  Very different format than CTM - no comparison; seldom guest speakers.  I just needed a change in perspective.

Anyway, I received a free book from Peter in the mail today as a token of gratitude for being a new subscriber -along with a signed picture of him.  I picked one ( from 3 he had available) - the NYT bestseller updated (2015 release) and expanded "The New Confessions of an Economic Hitman" by John Perkins.

So, I think I'm good now after paying for annual subscriptions to Peter B Collins, James Corbett, Sibel Edmonds (All NewsBud journalists) and watching CTM's intensive guests periodically for free until he gets it together.  CTM's pricing was never an issue for me; even 3 good guest interviews a month is worth the price.   I used to pay $30.00 a month when I subscribed to Catherine Austin Fitts Solari Reports!

It was actually the blunt realist talk on C2M about humans, race, and religion that got me to sign up. It scratched an itch.

You recommended Peter Collins. Does he do do any good samples of his shows? Or really, anything that gives a best example of what I'd be subscribing to?

I really don't know that. There is always the possibility that it's time for some of the information to be disseminated, but who knows? It's possible he's being played by disinformation agents of course, Knapp  has asked him about that more than a few times,  but I can't say that either, either because I really don't know. Part of this story involves documented aerial phenomena involvement at our nuclear facilities where ICBMs were put into launch mode and entire weapons systems turned off. That's a matter of public record now, while the crews who were in those nuclear bunkers have also come forth with their stories despite signing nondisclosure statements. That's also public record.

A lot of hooch and weed was to be had at those remote silos, too. Just sayin'.

Not for a woman's right to choose, though.

It's murder, plain and simple. Stuff revealed about organ trafficking occurring at women's clinics and the like take abortion to a whole other deplorable level, too. Besides, a convenient countermeasure was invented a long time ago.

Thanks. I've thought about that. I want to try to make it doing 5 days a week for as much as I can do solo. It's not easy combined with handling all other tasks aside from pure production aspects, but it's achievable. Have lots of guests I'm just now booking 1-3 months out due to busy schedules.

I'm working on a killer schedule for next week though. Spent this evening diving into theoretical astrophysics papers for an upcoming guest.
Don't want to say too much right now, but I've gone direct to the source on this one.

Will say this guest I'm studying for is probably going to go down in history for advancing interstellar space exploration.
He's got some fairly notable people behind him, including Hawking.

Cannot contain the excitement I have, both for his research and the fact that he's going to be on with us.  8)

Not Paul LaViolette, is it? Interviews with that guy is like prodding a couch with a stick.

I'll try to keep you guys posted on any interesting guests, they seem to be slowly getting their act together on the site. Check out Lionel Nation on you tube, you might like it, or not.
I keep sending in guest requests, sometimes they come on, most times not.

Lionel Nation, yeah, great stuff so far. Loading up a list to watch today.

Nah, you're not a sucker. Wells had something pretty special going for awhile. Nah, I'm a sucker for being curious where this thing is going. I'm going to resub ($22 isn't going to kill me) and see what washes out over the summer.

You didn't miss much, the first interview was your typical economic doom porn, the second one was forgettable. Just filler. Tell ya, man, I understand problems, but shit like misdirecting URLs and lack of updates on the FB C2M is pretty low. Hope Wells does some magic or gives a free extension on subs (haha), because this is like 1995 dial-up BBS type problems.

I'm getting frustrated with Wells and Lyn Ulbricht conversing.  They don't seem to be on the same page, or more like Wells doesn't understand what she wants to talk about.

I shall continue to persevere till the end.

just waiting for Tosh Plumlee to come out of his bunker and say SR was a CIA front. Also LoL'ing at the comparison of her son to Pablo Escobar, in the sense she really wasn't generous enough about how light that guy got it (Pablo was still running his empire and ordering hits from his incarceration).

Agreed, though, there was a glaring disconnect between Wells and Ulbricht.

Hahaha...well, I don't know about it being good, but you've missed a lot if you've been gone this long. I think AB's done just one show, an open lines, which I thought was pretty good. Nothing since. MITD went to a five hour format when the immortal Hoag bailed.
