There were people in the AB thread asking for and PM’ing the Big Archive torrent mag link that’s literally the link provided on the first page if this thread and has “istole.it” as a tracker. Nobody is private using this stuff.

that's got it.  thanks bud.  62GB downloading currently at 24Mbps.  much appreciated.

i deleted my art bell collection some time back out of frustration and a desire not to be reminded of how things were.  that was probably a mistake, since i had one of the most comprehensive collections.  i built it while running the old art bell shoutcast stream.

i'm glad this collection is out there.  it probably eclipses what i had, anyway.

There’s some stuff in http://sitarchive.com/ that’s not in the Big Torrent. I can’t make a list off hand, but the dates are searchable if you want to sperg a little.

I find it interesting the hate for John, but this is after all a hate site. John is adding affiliates on his Saturday show and his subscriber base on CTM is growing. He must be doing something right. Wells is interesting to listen to. Full of conspiracy stuff and is definitely not Art, but I do enjoy listening to him.

Were you subbed from day one?

I still listen, Brig. As soon as Wells puts up a program worth listening to, I will post it here. Lately nearly every episode has featured an author from World Net Daily. He did have one addressing Zionism, but that was last week. Yesterday, an author and the CIA guy Robert David Steele were on. I don't like Steele and didn't care for the author. So there you go. Opinions vary, I see. I thought the last interesting show he had featured a Russian woman who put out some interesting content. I'll go fetch up the info if you wish.
She kind of went off the deep end towards the end of the show. It was worth listening to.

Heh, Steele was actually one of my guest suggestions from more than a year-and-a-half ago.

First rule of communicating is having something to say without repeating the nonsense of others , when she started telling listeners to support the military and police while quoting Hannity and Limbaugh I lost respect for her .

I normally listen to the opening news segment and the start of the guest interview until she starts dropping wow, whew , oh my god , and um yeah into the conversation because the guest is clearly talking above her .

Sad part is there are actually some entertaing programs broadcast on the DMDN with no support whatsover from supposed bellcow host .

Admit it, you're a Limbaugh masturbator. Get some Hannity in there when you need some double hand action.

Episode 792 â€" William Lawrence

Tuesday August 15th 2017...

In this edition we welcome William Lawrence, who claims to have discovered in 2015 that sunlight can be used to communicate with ghosts and extra-terrestrials... He tells John about his evidence, quantum technologies, scientists using the same techniques and more...

Enjoy...

"Trump won the election/Hillary Clinton lost" Yet another of the brain-dead chants of the Republican cultists.  Do you have even a single original line?

Do you? Because all I see are leftists bleating the same party slogans for the last twenty years.

When a die-hard leftist doesn't even realize Trump came from outside the Republican Party and essentially destroyed several established/entrenched Republican dynasties to snatch the nomination (whereas Clinton had to cheat to beat a geriatric communist) you know said die-hard leftist is just a soggy, soft intellectual still partying like it's 1999.

Is she a sweet darling again??
Oh I forgot, Art said that we should love and support her because she is one of us.

She either got the job because she was a pillar of this community, or danced on Art's pillar to get the job. Take your pick, but she queefed on her origins a long time ago.

Just to be clear I never said I was under any financial pressure to say "George gets it". Go back and check the posts, it's funny how things posted here get inflated with time. I was Retiring and only knew that George had been doing a Paranormal show th St Louis. I was asked to say that by the Boss to help him launch, that's all. No financial pressure at all. I think once somebody says "Fake News" enough times people start to believe it. As I said go back and check the posts.

This is the first time I have been here in a long time and I see the hate just keeps coming, I will never the less continue to be a member here and will check in every now and then to see if anything has changed.

Art

Come on, man, I've never worked a day in my life in broadcasting, but even I know the concept of social and professional currency. Back then, a kind word from you was worth something in the world of woo, especially from the king of night radio, and especially to somebody trying to get in. No financial pressure, my ass, more like financial incentive (keep getting that royalty check every month!).

LOL, you are right, the Dr. Judy Wood website was designed by an acid dropping dude. I bet it looks cool if you are tripping on acid, all the colors, man.
Pure nirvana. ha ha

Oh, wow, talk about a "goddamn" moment. I met Dr. Judy Wood at a few conferences when getting my masters in material sciences. She's a weirdo, but was apparently a well-liked and respected professor before she dove off the deep end (not even referring to her truther junk). She had an accident with a lorry a bunch of years ago and it fucked her up pretty bad. A mere woman having an advanced degree in a STEM field is rare enough back in the 90s (he'll, it still is) let alone in material sciences was even more so. When she got broadsided, our student BBS lit up like a Christmas tree.

I'm only about 40 minutes in to this show, but it's pretty darn interesting. John does a great job with historical or "here's my/his/her story" topics. Some of his old Coast shows in the genre (like the Tosh Plumlee ep) are still my favorites in that realm.

It was a good show and the kind of thing that got me to sign up way back when. I even laughed at Wells' inconsistencies such as "I'm not a woo guy..." then immediately bringing up Roswell, but not in a condescending way.

who do you suspect has "daddy issues" here at bellgab? According to bullshit artist lawyer, this person has a British accent, and cowardly trolls him. I have my suspicions.

Probably this guy: https://dorkmission.blogspot.jp

Okay.  It's a newbie mistake.  She was, after all, thrown into "the chair" without a moment's notice or any training of hosting a radio show.
I think she has improved quite a bit.  Please, let me know your views after tonight's show.  Thanks, Doc. ;)

Well..no, not really. The general opinion is she has been at the job for 18 months and seems to be taking the snow-clogged, muddy, up-hill patch to improving. It can't really be said she was "thrown into 'the chair' without a moment's notice". Art flaked and gave her the opportunity of...her lifetime anyway...to take up the lead. Circumstances didn't force her, God nor the Devil or Tiger Lily forced her hand. She made the choice herself.

Are you a feminist? Because it's a common mentality among those folks to think women can't make their choice and responsibilities.

I thought he got lazy at the end of The Stand. It was riveting reading for 800 pages and then it just ended. Like he looked up one day,  saw the calendar, and realized he had to finish the book.

Still a good book though. Probably my favorite King book.

Old post, so sorry, but are you talking about the unabridged version? The Stand was the first full-length novel I read in English; and the abridged first release was the one I read. Have you ever read Robert McCammon's Swan Song? I remember back in the day there were some drag-out fights on Usenet and BBS between which one was the better post-apoc novel.

Ciarie...

First off, all my OS's are always up to date, and yes, XP still gets (monthly or so) upgrades...

Second, malware and spybots are made for the latest OS's, because they can recur their investment quicker...

Older softwares are always safer, they have fewer backdoors and more direct internal system routing...

The most bugged software is Windows10 or what ever is the newest and most purchased this week...

Apple shit is bugged by Apple scum, because it is proprietary...

New Computers, New Cell Phones what is the difference these days...

The only way to survive, as stated in "War Games", IS NOT TO PLAY...

Bomar

Um, those aren't security updates you're getting, but malware and antivirus updates; which do absolutely nothing for plugging whatever security holes were left in XP after support officially ended. I don't blame you for not wanting to get Win 10, assuming you can even run it since you're still using XP, much less blame you for going toward the extreme end and getting a Mac. But good Lord, there are literally idiot-proof Linux distorts that are infinitely better and more secure  than XP at this point.

I don't come here a lot because I want need or am seeking praise or ass kissing, that's the last damn thing I would expect from Bell Gab. I came here because I like the rough and tumble atmosphere in this group and have made many of my own contributions over the Years. I can give every bit as good as I get, But i just am not going to unmask people and go after their lives and Family's. I use my real name and almost nobody else does, I guess for fear of the above stuff happening to them?

I have never lied about anything including the Stalker stuff that did happen exactly as I told you it did. I have made mistakes in judgement with respect to my career which I think I have admitted here and elsewhere, I am many things but a liar is not one of them.

I do have COPD which is something that kind of sneaks up on you over time, it is not so bad that I could not do a show if I decided to do so. I did get a very serious case of pneumonia which set me back big time but I am for the moment pretty much ok.

At the expense of drawing fire I will say again that Heather is miles and miles better in the last Year and that is my Professional judgment, it is also the Judgment of many people I respect. It seems to me that the people in this forum should be proud of her, she was after all one of us.

That is a bit of a update for those who need ammo.

Yeah, I know this is a really old post now, but whatever. The only good deed Nye does these days is sponsor planetary.org, which if you're at all into technical astronomy, is a great place. Of course, like most endeavors, it's not the public doing the brunt endeavoring so much as the support.

What's the story there? I never listened to the show but she came across as pretty flaky, always coming up with some reason to not do a show so I didn't bother paying any attention to it. She did attend the Art Bell School of Broadcasting, after all, and it's hard to shake off your early training.

The broad thinks there are still KKK and literal Nazis (or as the guy I roomed with in Texas pronounced it - "nyatsees") running around and popping up like thrown pokeballs. She's firstly an SJW and when she started snagging some sucess with her show she encountered people in the wider world who don't really fit in with her worldview. Sad because she had a good thing going, but alas she doesn't have the temperament nor staying power. Maybe she was another student of Art's antenna farm.

I don't either. Of course I'd heard a few things over years but the Rogan show was the first time I've experienced him. I'm not sure if I'd like him because Rogan really put him up on his heels early on in that interview. I didn't think it was cool how he tried to confabulate stats about marijuana and driving and it was good Rogan called him out on that but should it have really taken a whole show up?!  :D

Your first time with listening/watching Rogan, eh? Yes, that wasn't the greatest episode. He'll interview just about anyone and roll for a couple of hours. 900+ episodes all up on YouTube, just search for your favorite subject and it's bound to be in there, if not a favored guest pertaining to it. It's not all MMA and weed.  :-*

I don't watch his show so I wouldn't know. I really can't stand listening to Crowder's show, though I like Crowder himself. Weird? I mean, he's a great guest, like a ninja doused in WD-40 in how he can handle hostile conversations.  As a host it's like he found a broomstick way too far to the right and sat right down on it. His in-between segments are funny as hell, though.
