Hmm... I actually love that part of the show, "Wanna take a ride?", and it's one of the things I really miss about Art hosting. That, and "From the High Desert..." 

My question is this: Is there a way to make all those streaming files available as downloads on 4shared, a la Autonomous?

Another thing I've noticed about official downloads versus 4shared downloads: The official downloads seem to have a higher audio level and cause a nasty clipping sound on the peaks. It's really annoying. Is it just me and my little K-mart GPX mp3 player, or does anybody else have this problem?

Anyone here visit Anomolous Archives lately? They've been down for at least a week now.

This is/was a great site for downloading classic Coast shows going back to 1993.

1995. Art Bell talking about sleep paralysis, waking up to some strange entity in your room but you can't move or shout. I was terrified, but hooked. I listened regularly 1995-97, lost track. Didn't realize Art had officially retired until I started paying attention again 2006. Now hooked on archives.

Agreed. Noori is a complete bore. Can't even make Ed Dames interesting and entertaining like Art could.

However, the Antikythera Mechanism show was hosted by Ian Punnet, intereviewing Jo Marchant, author of Decoding the Heavens.  Anyway, the device actually is something of an anomaly in history. Nothing else even as remotely advanced has ever turned up from the ancient world. So in a way, it is unique. We just don't know what knowledge it was based on.

(Unless I missed the Noory interview.)

I love old Art Bell archived shows, but I have limited internet access and can't listen to streaming shows. However, I can download MP3 files.

Is it possible for any of you Art Bell streamers to upload (possibly by request of specific dates) to this website?
