Naa, more likely will be seasoned NCO's perhaps even SF soldiers. A month might be a stretch, more likely 4-6 months, depending on the specific tasks they're being trained for. Whatever it is, it will be a lot longer than Putin's cannon fodder will get.

Indeed, but Putin is also running out of soldiers, he's had to resort to convicts. No training, little equipment, no incentive other than being killed by their own side if they don't sign up. Meanwile the UK is about to train another 12000 Ukrainian soldiers. And they will be very highly trained, they certainly have the motivation.

Hmm, not so sure. Yes McCarthy is going to be Speaker but he'll take his orders from MTG, Gym Jordan and a couple of others. He's fallen out of favour with Matt Gaetz. And even with say 220-221 seats, not much will get done because the crazies will be too wrapped up trying to impeach any and all who crossed drump rather than do anything such as pass legislation to say reduce prescription costs, or reduce pollution. Nope, their only priority will be to protect drump.

Which is all fine and dandy, except they don't have the Senate, and the reason the red wave was merely a smudge after shaving with a blunt razor is because drump isn't what the electorate want. Will they learn anything? And it runs the real risk of alienating the electorate even more, because come 2024 the policies going through will be starting to come to fruition by then...And all the likes of Gym will be able to show is "The 2020 election was stolen, we just can't prove it". They won't actually have any policies to help the people.

Incidentally..this 'corruption' seemed to favour the GOP in 2018 and 2020, because the GOP managed to get seats in both houses and a few Govenerships. If I'd run it, they wouldn't have a seat in anything, houses, district, governorship, or local town councils. Now THAT is proper fixing. How did De Santis get in? Or in fact almost all of FL go Rep? After multiple ways of being asked, McCarthy has refused to say if he'll endorse drump. Then again, drump told him that he wasn't upset enough about his failure to secure a second term in office. drump certainly isn't loyal to McCarthy.
