A very entertaining open lines call this morning from a guy named Brent who claimed he is in touch with the spirit of Art Bell.  Seems Bell sustained brain damage during/as a result of his death, so he isn't able to communicate as well as would be expected.  On the plus side, it appears in death Bell gained at least a degree of humility in that he asked Brent to relay his apologies for the way he treated George late in his life.  He feels bad about his behavior.

The caller struck me as a "lite" version of Charles from Elgin, TX; somewhat disjointed and rambling.  The best part was when he told Syratt he really wanted to talk to George, but "he would have to do."  Syratt appeared to take it all in stride.
The caller after him somehow richard got knocked off the air and they went to a replay.

well he was certainly brighter than Norry but then again so are most 12 year olds. but I prefer Norry to a show/host like that because I like a good trainwreck and Coast is that. Callers to show like Drex are normal people, millennials who stay up late, and are quite boring - with Coast I get oddballs like Cleopatra Lady, Cornelius, Mike the Millennal, Walt the Atheist, Annie, Barry, etc
this kind of stuff just is getting pretty old at this point. I’ve seen it for over a year at this point.

I see you on here talking about regular callers you don’t know us. Ever think we just want to participate in something we care about? So many people have a problem with somebody just because they are a millennial like wow act like an adult. I don’t really understand why you feel the need to dislike someone because they are a certain age.

so when are you planning on calling in and offering your extreme wisdom on the show since obviously you would be much better?
I mean don’t say stuff unless you are gonna offer something better.

Ha!  That’s the word that comes to mind.  “Simpleton.”  Not only for Snorge, but his cast of regular callers.
so when are you planning on calling in and offering your extreme wisdom on the show since obviously you would be much better?

You are wrong George puts lots of time into preparing for shows and interviews and truly cares about the subject material. This is why he is number one on late night. You people do not seem to understand logic. He represents many people that are not represented in mainstream media and I will remain loyal to george and the show. He deserves our undivided support. I realize changing all of bellgabs or at least getting to consider my points are highly unlikely but I also said it would be highly unlikely that I could contribute positively to the show on a somewhat regular basis but george gave me that opportunity. It is not impossible just keep an open mind bellgab dont go into the show with a certain criticizing mindset and you will realize george is one of the most caring and talented individuals of all time on the radio. Im pretty sure ill be criticized so be it.

Maybe Jorch can tell everybody about the cancelled invasions when he does an update on his charitable causes.

Whel for your information George has donated to many causes maby if you listened to the show as much as I do you would hear other callers that have called in and spoke about the charities that he has personally donated to and their appreciation for this. I understand most people on here are art bell fans and intelligent people but you don't know all George has done and causes he has donated to so don't make rude comments like this. I know I will be criticized for this but that is ok because george and tom believed in me when others would not and gave me many opportunities so at least be somewhat respectful of them. I realize me posting on here probably will not change your minds so.

Who is participating in open lines next friday with Ian Punnett?

I wanted to point out a really good point a couple weeks ago made by Joe on Long island about this virus being a demonic virus or being caused by Satan. I am am honestly surprised nobody else brought up this on the show until about mid April when he did. You gotta give credit when credit is due. This was really something that these so called experts have failed to look at and it's something we as the coast audience need to take into serious consideration that this whole virus may be being cause by a demon or Satan and that we may need an exorcist or one of the archangels to help solve it.

Id like to see Ian punnett host one of these art bell tribute shows. I think hed do a great job.

Was he ever on AM radio?

You see the joke is on ddd, he has gotten away with spewing all kinds of lies during his radio "career", Knowing full well that he can air all kinds of lies he wants, knowing that he has no assets to be sued for.  The only problem is, ddd can't sue anybody for slander because if hell ever were to freeze over and he won, the people he has slandered over the years would sue him for that money he won in court and he would be no better off for it. Being indigent is a double edged sword.
Is this guys show on youtube or radio because when I googled this guy only came up with a youtube show.

This was actually a good show aside from being almost impossible to get through on the phone lines when Ian hosts. A lot of people want to get through to talk to him when he hosts.

Right thats why Im on here willing to talk to you people unlike most of the other callers im not really a sensitive person even though you might think that im really not and guess what if you want to talk politics so bad why dont you do it you have just as much ability to call the show as me or cornelius or anyone else so just do it. The reason I choose not to talk politics usually is because I appreciate the vision art bell had for the show and that vision really wasnt politics or corporate influence on coast that is why I try to stick to the origins of the show and not controversial stuff like politics.

wow  there actually was a new caller     he said the screener grilled him hard    that's because you're not annie, barry, or cornelius
It depends on what you want to talk about if the subject matter may be controversial then your probably going to get further screened. Definitely was the case when I was first starting out calling in. But honestly don't like to talk about politics and try to stay away from discussing it as much as possible because almost always someone will disagree with it.

Again, shame on George Knapp. I usually listen to Coast with bemusement but some nights the fraud perpetrated by guests and host on a naive audience is too much and gets me worked up.

This doctor tonight, a Dr. Barry Tapp, is a total fraud and/or total loon. He wants to be taken as a serious scientist using science to investigate the paranormal. He talked at length about a long investigation of a home near the Manson Murders house on Ciello Drive in Los Angeles. Dr. Trapp claims that this home is so active with paranormal activity that 19 ..... NINE ... TEEN .... NINETEEN TIMES he personally has had to be taken to the ER at Cedars Sinai Hospital he became so sick. If I were the host my response to this would be 'Doctor, two things come to mind, you are either the world's biggest hypochondriac or you're a liar, which is it?' Knapp like Noory tacitly encourages these charlatans and loons to continue in their charade or mental illness. Tapp tries very hard to sound very reasonable and not at all a kook - the doctor doth protest too much. He explained that he doesn't think this particular home is haunted by evil spirits/ghosts, not sure why since he gave many case studies where poltergeists according to him were involved. According to the doctor the odd happenings in this house are caused by an unusually strong 'geo magnetic force',  why some people such as himself are more affected in a house like this is they possess 'bio optimal amplifiers', he doesn't explain where these are in the body or what they are. What he also doesn't explain is how or why the glass of water that was thrown directly at his face causing him to duck happened. There are many objects in a house, shelves and tables filled with objects, how does the strong 'geo magnetic force' zero in on a glass of water and propel it at a human target and why?

He engages in what all Coast's pseudo-scientists do, he drops names of real scientists, vaguely refers to some past experience with important university or government laboratories, all to make himself look more legitimate. He also claims that he does 'hard medical science', he has invented and filed several patents for medical devices, one he described that can diagnose diseases within the body non-invasively just with some interaction with skin surface. For some reason he's having a hard time finding anybody to manufacture the device.  ;D

He also claimed that current research is finding that our memories are stored outside the brain, outside the body, they are stored in a 'remote zero point field'.

Obviously the man is a complete kook or fraud artist but not to Millennial Mike who has quickly turned into Thomas from La Jolla, he calls in to tell every guest that their work is fantastic and he's read their work, which I don't doubt.  Thomas and Mike are either morons or about as gullible as human beings can be. Absorbing and retaining information doesn't make one smart, critical thinking is the essential part of intelligence.
I agree with you you on that and although publicly i cant say that I am Mike the millennial I am willing to have any discourse with you part of the reason that I joined this site is to be a part of the critical thinking that takes place here. I don't insinuate that I am any better than anybody else sometime i feel worse than other people but I sure as hell haven't just had everything handed to me so don't judge people just by how they might sound on a radio.

Right because by then the guy probably would have made about all he could from this so called doomsday prophecy and would be long gone.

Last night's UFO "expert," some old gal named Diane Tessman, was one of most ill-informed and confused guests on the subject I've ever heard.  On top of that, she repeatedly alluded to the aliens (actually time travelers according to her) and how they abided by all things "Star Trek." One of the callers, another old gal who apologized for having been drinking, made more sense than Tessman.
Tacos in Hawaii wouldnt be bad though.

Thanks for the reminder about his own show. Often he has guests that later he will get on the rare time he hosts C2C. I wish he would take over from Norry. Let Norry retire to do his variety road shows or whatever that ppv internet "tv" show. Syrett takes actual calls, has interesting/controversial guests, and pays attention to guests or callers.

I enjoy Mr. Lobo but, of course, Jorch was a complete zero.  Completely clueless about horror or scifi movies.  At least we got to find out a number of times about Jorch not liking "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen." ::) And we can no doubt thank Tommee for handing Jorch that top ten list of movies.

I did get a chuckle when the lady caller thought she was the first to bring up "The Thing" and started rattling on about it, after Mr. Lobo had discussed it in the first hour of the show.  I don't think Jorch even noticed and it took Mr. Lobo to tactfully mention that "yes, it was a good sci fi movie," like they'd discussed earlier that night.  Mr. Lobo may as well have subjected himself to an interview at a dementia facility.
Well mike must be doing something right lately because I haven’t seen anyone mention him in a negative way on here latel. He is not part of the sad pack anymore.

So any comments on the sad pack on open lines earlier which apparently what the regular callers  are referred to on here.
