For the general information of fellow Knappyheads:

I knew Kevin Day many years ago. A very good friend early in our careers. We went very different paths in the military, and lost touch. However, I can attest that he is perhaps the most down-to-earth, decent, honest man I`ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. If he says it; it`s the truth!

That is all.

Really?  Day's credibility, with your endorsement, will be solid.  He sounded like a very grounded and honest individual.

That was perhaps the most fascinating 2 hours of C2C I`ve listened to since...well...since Art`s glory days. Crazy.

Agreed!

One sick guy.

Yep, exactly.  Whatever's actually going on, I enjoy the speculation.  It's like campfire stories, some may seem farfetched but then there's that little hesitation in you wondering hmmm... but what if??

That is right, Zee.  It was a fun and spooky night.  Hope you are back with me next Sunday!

I don't care about comics and super-heroes but I laughed at the Spinal Tap interview. Ian doing his Orson Welles style tricks, like he did with WWZ. I wonder if listeners understand the Spinal Tap was a fake band (that, in a weird way, sorta became a real band, sorta?) Funny stuff. But the Mojave Desert stuff was good. Nice, spooky, and scaring. Good job Ian!
ps: Ian made it seem that he wasn't returning as a permanent fill-in host but just for a few shows? I would rather he fill-in for Norry or one of the gals. Not Syrett or Knapp.

Agreed!

I am fascinated!!!  Coast at its best!  This is what Coast is all about.  Come on!  You want 100% vetting?  Well, this is not what Coast is about!  Relax, enjoy, and embrace the unexplained.  Have fun!!!!

Yep!

Mojave Mysteries

Hosted by Ian Punnett

Guest(s): M.L. Behrman, Derek Smalls, David Mack

Ian Punnett returns to guest hosting on C2C! He's joined by author M.L. Behrman to discuss bizarre accounts from the Mojave desert from witnesses, both modern and historical, detailing their encounters with things that left them shaken, terrified or worse. These include a "cement monster" living in the desert, and a hitchhiker who claimed he was drugged by a Satanic cult. In the first hour, artist David Mack shares updates on his comic book art, and 'Spinal Tap' rocker Derek Smalls details his legacy, and comeback.

Question, when did they stop the KFAB "comment line" answering machine call-in show.

I thought it was pretty unique for low budget "local" radio on a clear channel.

That has been gone for awhile....however, I do think the mid-morning host (can't think of his name at the moment) takes a few
calls.

I remember when Peter Davenport wanted compensation for his 'reports' and Art told him NOBODY was paid. Peter, clearly upset, disappeared for some time. Not sure when he returned.

I do like Peter.....he's quite a guy.  So intense....fabulous vocabulary!  The guy is brilliant and nerdy and I like that.

I refuse to listen to Noory.  He is just horrible.  How can a half way intelligent individual not gain some insight, skill, wisdom, etc... after hosting after all these years?  HE NEVER IMPROVES???!!!!

One exception....I do listen if LMH is on because she simply "takes over" and Noory shuts up.

Was bingeing Malachi Martin n Art. Interesting comments by Father Martin AND Art with regard to suicide and doctor assisted suicide and 'palative medicine' that 'hastens but does not cause death,' homosexuality, trannies, pedos, and stuff. Some more interesting now both dead and the more unsavory and bad events in Art's and MM's lives, organizations, and drama. And listening to predictions and politics of MM etc.  RIP Both.
ps: MM says "he went beyond the DATA!" Pulling an RCH with regard to Jung. Ha.

I, too, did the same binge.  Excellent stuff.
