No, you're not the only one.  I listen to Knapp when he's on, other than that I never listen to Noory anymore, and very rarely Punnett.  I put an FM transmitter on my computer, and have my radio tuned to it in my bedroom, then I stream the shoutcast  Art Bell programs, hope that helps.

1-2 teaspoons of Baking Soda, in a glass of water is instant acid stomach relief, much better than Tums, and much, much less expensive.  It also works well in the fridge, and in drains to eliminate odor.  Isn't that fascinating?  Maybe I could be a guest too, and maybe that's the ONE good thing about Noory, any idiot can hope to be a guest on his show.  Need more fake guests, maybe the http://theyesmen.org/ to snooker Noory.

Art Bell shows because somewhere along the line George changed. Now the old AB shows are no more.  Forced to listen to Paracast or Dreamland.

It seems GN is another right wing kook, seeing conspiracies around every corner, and the constant references to biblical scriptures is a real turn off.  He slates guests that seem to hate Obama or at least distrust him, and such a joke that some think he's a communist! Throw enough mud and hope some of it sticks I guess. I tune in for the first 15 minutes or so, and then 99% of the time, I change stations to our 1 progressive radio station.  In case you haven't noticed, many of the posters on this forum are pretty far right as well. We just have to let them hear our voices too, if they will open their ears.

Yes, there is less ice is some places.  And more ice in others.  Probably less over all lately.  Things change over time.  Several hundred years ago Greenland used to be green and warm, then it got colder.  England was warm most of the year.  Newfoundland was called Vineland due tot he fine crop growing weather.  Cycles within larges cycles.

I think it would be much easier and saner to convince people to have less children, to consume less, to stop the things we are doing to kill our oceans, to stop destroying habitat, develope alternative energy, all that.  But using force, using these issues as excuses to rachet up our taxes, adding more petty bureaucrats to craft nuisance laws, more control over us by the same people that can't effectively run the massive govt they allready created - gee, people resist that?

And Al Gore.  Building that huge mansion, the one that uses as much energy as a small city.  Flying around on private jets.  That's the hero?  Please.

It's called "Science Fantastic" - sorry if this is already posted, I just found it last night on the AM.  This may be one way for Art to consider getting back onto the air, since this is an intelligent, thought provoking program, like Coast used to be..maybe he could be a guest or guest host?

you can get used to anything.  I used to live in a town that smelled like a rendering plant, and yes I got used to that too...doesn't mean it's good.

Aloha, I lived in Kona as well as outside of Pahoa, which is near Hilo.  Hilo is still very sleepy town, and don't see how GN could ever fit in there.  If a Tsunami hits, hopefully he can report live from Hilo Bay, edging ever further out into the ocean as the tide recedes prior to the big wave, sweeping GN away into the night...

did you mean prolific or prophetic writer?  I know he's written a lot of books.  I find him a little too pedantic and professorial.  Have you tried Norman Goldman?  He's pretty fun to listen to, and much more cheery than the doom and gloom Mike Malloy....
